This is the last post before I am going back to medical school world. I would like to post some of the pic drawn/sketched during holiday. I am experimenting with a lot of new painting stuffs with new colouring technique. Please view my works with the word ‘newbie’ in mind. It is not masterpieces I would say, but I would love to honour my starting point.
I used water-soluble colour pencils for this drawing. This is the first time I learn how to draw a front-facing portrait. This is the second trial. The first trial won’t be shown here hehe.
I drew this ‘Hijab Girl’ for iHijabee campaign. I feel so blessed being a hijabee.
I used water soluble pastel plus white acrylic (only for shading). This is the first time I am using brayer and I kind of like it.
Aiming to produce an angel but, it turned up to be a distorted angel haha. The body is not proportioned well (her hand looks like robot’s hand). Some mistakes with the brayer, really need to practise more.
I am so excited producing this fairy. I love the colour so much. Now, I am so interested to dive into surrealism theme.
I would like to insert some more sketches but there is technical problem while uploading them into wordpress. I guess the eye candies stop here.
For whoever curious of how do I learn these techniques, I am taking class with Tamara Laporte simply because it is free, but I do learn a lot from that class. That is all for now. Do send me your lovely wishes and dua. Really need it right now.
